1 Place the non slip mat onto the
worksurface, rib side down.
2 Position the glass bowl onto the
middle of the non slip mat.
3 Fit the knife blade over the pin in the
glass bowl.

guide.
Cut large pieces of food into 1-2cm

Don't chop hard foods such as

coffee beans, ice cubes,
spices or chocolate - you'll
damage the blade.
5 Fit the splashguard. Make sure the
slots in the splashguard fit over the
handles in the rim of the glass bowl.
The food chopper will not

operate unless the
splashguard is fitted.
6 Fit the power unit.
The power unit will only fit correctly
G
in two positions.
7 Plug in. Press down on the power
unit for short lengths of time to
produce a pulsing action - this will
avoid over processing the
ingredients.
If the machine labours, remove some
G
of the mixture and continue
processing in several batches,
otherwise you'll strain the motor.
Stop the machine and scrape down
G
if necessary.
Do not run the food chopper
G
continuously for longer than 10
seconds. Leave to cool for 1 minute
inbetween each 10 second
operation.
8 After use, unplug and dismantle.

The glass bowl can be used in a
microwave oven.

Always switch off and unplug before

cleaning.
Handle the cutting blades with care -

they are extremely sharp.
Some foods will discolour the

plastic. This is perfectly normal. It
won't harm the plastic or affect the
flavour of your food.
