Side-by-Side bed
The cabinet can be adjusted in 5 different height
positions in order to fit the adult bed mattress
height. This is set in connection with assembling
the bed.
The Side-by-Side bed door is in both sides equip-
ped with a lock, which has a two-part motion so
that children cannot open the door by themselves.
The door can be opened with one hand by trigge-
ring the lock in one side. When pressing the door
downwards in the same side it will slide off the
opposite lock by itself. This ensures that the door
cannot get stuck halfway, but always stays either
up/closed or completely down.
Always make sure that there are no objects or
other things that block the door function. Make
sure the door is placed in its lowest position when
it is open in order to avoid choking hazard.
Once the door is closed, the lock must be "clicked
in" in both sides. This can also be done with one
hand. Make sure that the door is always closed
correctly when the cradle is left unattended.
WARNING
• Your baby's safety is your responsibility.
• As soon as the child can sit, kneel or pull itself
up by itself, the Side-by-Side bed must not be
used for this child anymore.
• The Side-by-Side bed door opens only when
the Side-by-Side bed is correctly fastened to the
adult bed.
• Make sure that the door is always correctly
locked/closed when the Side-by-Side bed is
placed separately.
• Make sure that the distance from the baby bed
mattress to the upper edge of the cabinet is never
less than 200 mm. This is marked with an "arrow"
on both front covers (part number 7 and 8).
• Always use the original Leander bed mattress
so that you are sure that the distance to the upper
edge of the bed is correct.
• Make sure that the baby bed mattress and the
adult bed mattress are at the same level and that
the beds are properly strapped together when
used in conjunction with each other.
• Make sure that the Side-by-Side bed is always
placed on a horizontal and stable surface.
