• P ossible Electrical Shock Hazard. Do not remove the cover of the InSpectra
Monitor. There are no user serviceable parts inside and all maintenance must be done by a Hutchinson
Technology qualified service technician.
• C hemicals from a broken LCD display panel or backlight are toxic when ingested; use caution when handling
the monitor with a broken LCD screen.

to use the System check, connect the optical cable
to the System check port
1. Align the two raised lines on the optical cable connector
with the line on the System Check label
collar toward the locked symbol to close (figure 28.1).
2. The "System Check Connected" message will display on the
screen in the status bar
3. After 20 seconds, the reference measurement for InSpectra
System Measurement and THI displayed on the
monitor and should be within the ranges

printed on the System Check label
(figure 28.3).

NotE: If out of range, contact the
Service Center.
See Cleaning the System section for instructions to
clean the System Check.
cautIoN: Do not immerse the InSpectra StO
System Check in fluids.
To protect the port from damage and contamination,

store the System Check with the cap
