1. Description of device

1.1 Intended use

The distributor is used mainly at accident sites with large numbers of injured/patients and
serves primarily to supply up to four patients simultaneously with medical oxygen.

1.2 Description of function

The OXYWAY Click distributor is equipped with four click dial-adjusted flowmeters for ad-
ministering medical oxygen from central gas supplies or oxygen cylinders. The oxygen flow
can thus be individually adjusted for up to four patients.
In operation, the oxygen leaves the supply at a pressure of 4.5 bar and passes through the
connector into the OXYWAY Click distributor. In the dial head is an orifice disk with a va-
riety of orifice diameters which are lined up with the oxygen outlet by means of a click dial
system. This enables you to set the following flow rates: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 12, 15 l/min.
There are three screwed connections and four connectors at the distributor to allow the
following connection options:
• central gas supply/oxygen cylinder
• operation/oxygen supply from external devices e.g. MEDUMAT or
OXYMAND demand valve
• oxygen masks to supply patients
