PREPARATION
1. Remove all packaging materials and check the device and accessories for damages.
2. Clean the unit as described in Cleaning and Maintenance. Heed all safety instructions when doing
so.
3. One 3 V lithium round cell battery, type CR2032, is installed in your luggage scale upon delivery.
Remove the protective foil from the battery compartment (4) to make contact. The scale is ready for
use.

INSERTING/REPLACING BATTERY

1. Remove the battery compartment cover (5).
2. Remove the used battery and dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly way, according to legal
regulations.
3. Place a 3 V lithium round cell battery, type CR2032, in the battery compartment. Heed correct polarity.
The batteries plus side must face upwards.
4. The LCD display (1) turns on and shows 0.00, as well as kg. The LCD display turns off automatically
after about 1 minute.
5. To close the battery compartment, replace the cover and click it into place.
6. Change the battery when the LCD display shows the symbol

USE
1. Feed the carrying strap (7) through the opening in the handle of the piece
of luggage you wish to weigh. Hold the scale by the handle (6).
2. Connect the hook (3) underneath the scale, as depicted in the adjacent
illustration.
3. Push the button (2) to turn on the scale. The LCD display shows 0.00,
as well as kg.
4. Lift the piece of luggage and read its weight in the LCD display.
5. If the scale is overloaded, EEEE appears in the LCD display.
6. To switch from kg to lb (pounds), push the button
once directly after
turning on the scale kg blinks in the display. Push the button
again.
The display changes from kg to lb. After about 3 seconds the display shows
