4. OPERATION
Turning on the high-temperature grill and setting temperature
To turn the unit on, press the power switch on the back part of the product. The display will turn
on and the time and temperature digits will blink once.
Adjusting the temperature
Press down the temperature knob. The default temperature value, 800 ºC, will blink.
Turn the knob clockwise to increase temperature (maximum 850 ºC) or counter clockwise to
decrease temperature (minimum 200 ºC). Press the knob to confirm the set temperature.
Once it is confirmed, the temperature digits will stop blinking and the time digits will start
blinking.
Adjusting cooking time
After confirming the grill temperature, set the desired cooking time. The default cooking time,
10 minutes, will blink on the display.
Turn the time knob clockwise to increase the cooking time (maximum 60 minutes) or counter
clockwise to decrease it (minimum 1 minute).
The heating elements and fan will start running as soon as time and temperature are set.
Preheating
When temperature and time are set, the device starts preheating. The display will show the
current temperature at all times. When the set temperature is reached, the set time will start
counting down.
Note: The error rate for the temperature display is ±20 ºC.
Recommendation: It is suggested to allow the device to preheat for approximately 3 minutes
before introducing the food for optimum results.
Using the high-temperature grill
Note:
The usual cooking time is between 1 and 3 minutes on each side of food, but this will always
depend on the type of food, thickness etc.
Meat should be taken out of the refrigerator about 1 to 2 hours before grilling and slowly
brought to room temperature.
Insert the fat-drip tray into grate guide 6 with the handle as the grill preheats.
Place the meat on the non-preheated grill grate and use the guide handle to put it in the
preheated high-temperature grill. In the following illustrations, you can see the exposed grill
surface in relation to the selected grate guide, or in relation to the distance between the grate
and the heating element.
