3. Wrap the cuff around the arm and secure (Figure 8). Use the wrist
strap to secure the cables to the patient.
Replacing the Microphone
When you receive the Tango+ cuff, the microphone should already be properly
inserted. If you need to replace the microphone, follow these simple steps:
1. Open the Velcro strap on the cuff and pull out the old microphone
2. Insert the new microphone through the sleeve, following the dash line, until
the microphone is touching the bottom of the sleeve and is right under the
ARTERY marker.
3. Connect the microphone to the bladder hose, using the rubber ties.
4. Close the Velcro flap over the cable.
*Note: Annual replacement of the microphone is recommended.
