CAUTION! Excessive force when removing
the wires or the sensor will damage the sen-
sor and it will not operate correctly.
1. Disconnect wire from exhaust temperature sensor
and set aside.
2. Remove exhaust temperature sensor from riser;
save.
3. Remove all components from riser; save
components.
4. Remove exhaust manifold drain plug. After all
water has drained out, re-install plug. Torque to
22 ft. lb. (29 Nm).
5. Loosen lower exhaust hose clamps.
