Turn on the water and check that the mixer is operating properly and that no leaks are
detected from any of its parts. Push the handle to turn on the water; to the left the
water gets hotter, while to the right it gets colder. To turn it off just pull the handle.

TIPS ON USE:

The chrome parts or those with different finishes must only be cleaned with mild soap
and water using a sponge or a soft cloth. To clean the aerator only use a liquid des-
caler.
WARNING, DO NOT use abrasive or products or any products which are too
acid.

FITTING A NEW CARTRIDGE: (Fig. B)
Undo the locking screw -2- and remove the handle -1- lift off the sliding disc -3- and
the nipple -5-. Unscrew the ring nut -6- using an adjustable wrench. Remove the car-
tridge -9-. To re-assemble, proceed in reverse order making sure that the surfaces
where the sealing bushes -11- as well as the O rings -8- adhere are perfectly clean
Tighten the ring nut -6- until it comes up against the mechanical stop in the tap body
-10- To re-assemble, proceed in reverse order making sure that the surfaces where
the seals adhere are perfectly clean.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
• Insufficient water pressure
• Blocked aerator
• Worn aerator
• Cartridge not tight enough
• Base seal or O rings worn
• Water hammering on system
• Water temperature too high (>80º)
• Worn "GACO" seal
• Excessive lime scale or complete
lack of lubrication

REMEDIES
• Check system upstream
• Clean aerator
• Fit new aerator
• Tighten ring nut
• Check condition of the seals
(clean or replace)
• Fit a new cartridge
• Check system
• Check condition of the seal
(clean or replace)
• Remove the swivelling nozzle and
clean all swivel parts tho troughly
and add a thin film of lubricant.
