cable at the bottom (Fig. 4). No other position of the element is permissible! Before installing the TRR-E, you must check whether there is
any damage to the power supply cable for the electric heating element. You must not install a TRR-E with a damaged electric heating
element! We recommend you use other accessories for KORALUX TRR, which are fitted to the end of the power supply cable, for
connection of the electric heating element to the mains. This concerns the RE10A (Z-SKV-0004) electric thermostat with integrated mains
plug (Fig. 5) or the VS1 (Z-SKV-0002) (Fig. 6) mains plug with switch.
Installation and replacement of the RE10A and VS1 may only be performed by a person with the appropriate professional electrical
qualifications. When installing RE10A electric thermostat and VS1 plug with switch in bathrooms and showers, the provisions of the ČSN
33 2000-7-701 standard (or IEC 60364-7-701) must be complied with (Fig. 2). The connection socket, into which these accessories will be
connected, must meet the requirements of the prescribed safety regulations and norms and must be permanently accessible (to make it
possible to disconnect the electric heating element from the mains).
Warning: Plugs and thermostats have a lower level of protection against water than the TRR-E, so their operating instructions
must be complied with when operated in bathrooms. The VS1 plug with switch has IP 41 protection so it cannot be operated in an
area nearer than 600 mm to the bath or shower!
Use of an extension cable is forbidden (Fig. 7)! If any water gets into the plug or if it is damp, or if the plug is damaged, it must not be inserted
into the socket (Fig. 8)! The towel rail radiator is fixed to the wall with the aid of a set of brackets, which is included in the delivery. If the TRR-
E is positioned in the corner of a room or in an alcove etc., a minimum side distance of the radiator from the wall of 50 mm must be adhered
to during installation. The distance between the back of the TRR-E and the wall is given by the dimensions of the brackets supplied with the
TRR-E. The TRR-E must not be positioned directly under a mains socket. The TRR-E is not designed for installation in cloakrooms. In
order to rule out any danger to very small children, it should be installed in such a way that the lowest cross bar is at least 600 mm above the
floor. During handling and installation, the TRR-E with electric heating element must be protected against shocks to avoid mechanical
damage.
Cleaning and maintenance
Regular detergents designed for cleaning painted surfaces can be used to clean the outer surface of the radiator. Always clean the TRR-E
when it is safely disconnected from the mains and leave it to dry before switching it back on. Make sure that no water gets into the electrical
parts and the electrical supply equipment. You must not interfere in the construction of the TRR-E in any way. Dismantling or loosening the
blanking plugs and electric heating element is explicitly forbidden (Fig. 9).
Operation
The TRR-E is set into operation and switched off using an incoming preliminary switch (separate or part of the VS1 mains plug), or it can be
switched off or its activity controlled using a RE10A spatial thermostat (Fig. 5).

Safety instructions
- If water gets into the mains plug, you must not plug it into the socket (Fig. 8)! Have it repaired by a specialist.
- Do not place the power cable on the heated TRR-E. A damaged power cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer of the electric
heating element or other qualified party in order to avoid any danger!
- Any interference with the TRR-E, during which the integrity of the TRR-E is breached, may only be performed by a person with the
appropriate electrical qualifications, who is also trained for this purpose by the manufacturer of the TRR-E.
- If the power supply cable is damaged, immediately disconnect the electric heating element from the mains and have it repaired by a
specialist!
- If any leakage of the heat-carrying medium from the radiator is ascertained, the electric heating element must be immediately
disconnected from the mains supply and repair arranged with the manufacturer (Fig. 10)! If there is any leakage of the heat-carrying
medium, there is a danger of damage to the electric heating element in the TRR-E.
- This appliance is only designed for drying textile material washed in water!
- Climbing on the TRR and hanging heavy items from it is forbidden (Fig.12)!
- This appliance may only be used by children aged 8 or over and people with impaired physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of
experience and knowledge if supervised or instructed with regards to safe use of the appliance and if they understand the possible
danger. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed by
unsupervised children.
Waste electrical and electronic equipment
Electrical or electronic equipment which is no longer fit for use must be collected separately and taken away for
environmentally-friendly recycling (European Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Use the system of return and collection established in the given country for disposal of waste electrical or electronic
equipment.
