2.2. Risk of tipping over
If you have anti-tip wheels fitted on both sides (see Chapter 4.9.2)
these will largely prevent the wheelchair from tipping over backwards.
However please note that driving with anti-tip wheels is only possib-
le in a limited way on ground with different levels, lift platforms and
ramps. Make sure there is sufficient gap at the top, bottom and sides.

2.3. Safety in vehicles
The BX 11 / BX 11 S is not designed to be used as a vehicle seat.
Under no circumstances must it be used as such. It does not fulfil the
requirements in compliance with ISO 7176-19. Violation can cause the
most serious injuries resulting in death in the case of an accident (Fig.
A).
2.4. Use on roads
The wheelchair was designed for both in- and outdoor activities. Please
note that when you drive on public roads. Do not endanger other users
through reckless driving, this applies particularly on pavements.
2.5. Intended use
The wheelchair is only designed to increase mobility for those who have
difficulty walking with the indications specified (see Chapter 2.6). The
maximum payload is 135 kg.

Warranty will be granted only if the product is being used according
the specified conditions and for the intended purposes.
2.6. Indications
Provision of a wheelchair is intended for individuals who are unable to
walk or who have severely impaired mobility, e.g. through:

Paralyses
•
Loss of limbs
•
Limb defects/deformity
•
Joint contractions (not on both arms)
•
Joint damage (not on both arms)
•
other illnesses
