4.3. Amputee legrests (optional)
Assemble, disassemble and swing them away as for the standard leg-
rests, adjustment and the horizontal adjustment works as for the hori-
zontally-adjustable legrests.
4.3.1. Active mudguard

As standard the wheelchair is fitted with an aluminium mudguard (Fig.
18). This is fixed the frame at the front and the back. The height of the
mudguard must be adjusted if the seat position or tyre size is changed.
4.3.2. Height-adjustable sideguards

with armrests (optional)
The height-adjustable sideguards are fitted with height and depth-
adjustable armrests. You can swing the sideguard away and remove
it completely.
Armrest height
•
Operate the lever with one hand and push the armrest to the requi-
red height with the other (Fig. 19).

Release the lever so that the armrest clicks into the next possible
position.
Armrest depth
•
Push the pushbutton on the outside of the armrest and push the
armrest forwards or backwards (Fig. 20).

Release the push button so that the armrest clicks into the next
possible position.
Swinging the sideguards away
•
Operate the lever and at the same time swing the sideguard away
to the back (Fig. 21).
The dealer can adjust the mudguards by using the
assembly instructions.
