The next sections contain new features related to
the ICS VG2.n release.
Caliper measurement
The following enhancements now show on the
Calipers page:

A Lead button – Selects the lead to provide mea-
surements.
B Size button – Selects the size of the waveform.
C Zoom in/out – Zooms in or out of a partic-
ular waveform to view more detail.
D Add row button – Creates a new row to contain
a new set of measurements. You can only mea-
sure one lead at a time (in one row).
E Delete row button – Deletes the current mea-
surement row.

F HR (RR) column – Displays the heart rate in
bpm. The calculation is: HR (RR) averaged =
60/RR averaged if RR is in seconds, or =
(60*1000)/RR averaged if RR is in milliseconds.
System configuration
System setup - Recorders/ Reports page
The new option Preview reports allows the user to
view reports in PDF format before printing. The set-
ting made on the Recorders/ Reports page be-
comes the default value in bedview.
The new option Report hospital name allows the
user to enter a hospital name to be printed on a re-
port.
Trends/Data dialog window
Trends graph, Trends table, Full disclosure,
Events
From the Reports... button, the new selection Pre-
view reports is available. When set to On, select-
ing a report will display a PDF preview.
To toggle the Preview reports option on or off:
 Select the arrow button
To print a report from PDF preview:
 Select the icon.
Alarms
Overview of alarms
Visual alarm message banners are intended to be
read by the user at a distance of up to 1 meter (ap-
proximately 3.3 feet) from the Infinity CentralStation
display. Flashing parameter box signals are intend-
ed to be recognized by the user at a distance of up
to 4 meters (approximately 13 feet).
Alarm functionality should be verified by generating
a high grade, medium grade and low grade alarm
condition and confirming visual and audible alarm
annunciation at the Infinity CentralStation.
