Sound
• HPF (High pass filter)
– to select the cut-off frequency to "78Hz,"
"125Hz," or "off."
• LPF (Low pass filter)

"125Hz," or "off."
• Loudness
– to enjoy bass and treble even at low volumes.
The bass and treble will be reinforced.
• AUX Level (page 21) — to adjust the volume
level of connected auxiliary equipment.
Play Mode
• Local on/off (Local seek mode) (page 14)
– Select "on" to only tune into stations with
stronger signals.
• Mono on/off (Monaural mode) (page 14)
– Select "on" to hear FM stereo broadcast in
monaural. Select "off" to return to normal
mode.
• IF Auto/Wide (page 14)

To set Demo, press (OFF), then press

To set A.Scroll, press (MENU) during CD/

Setting the equalizer (EQ7)
You can select an equalizer curve for 7 music
types (Xplod, VOCAL, CLUB, JAZZ,
NEW AGE, ROCK, CUSTOM), and OFF
(equalizer off).
You can store and adjust the equalizer settings
for frequency and level.
You can store the EQ7 setting for each source.
Selecting the equalizer curve

Press (SOURCE) to select a desired
source.

Press (EQ7) repeatedly to select a
desired equalizer curve.
Each time you press (EQ7), the item
changes.
To cancel the equalizing effect, select "OFF."
After 3 seconds, the display returns to the
normal play mode.
