Battery life
Note!
The service life of a battery depends
exclusively on its handling. Therefore it
is particularly important how and under
what conditions the battery is operated
and stored.
The following items must be observed to ensure a
maximum service life of the battery:

Recharge the battery after every discharge.
▸
Do not wait with recharging until the battery is
completely depleted.
▸
Charge the battery regularly at standstill.
▸
If the device is not being used for an extended
period of time, charge it regularly.
▸
Fully charge it at least every 6 months.
Initial Use
Charge the battery
Note
Fully charge the batteries prior to first
use.
▸
Plug the charger into a suitable mains outlet.
▸
Fully insert the battery in the charger.
Charging commences, the red indicator light

(charging) flashes.
Charging is complete once the red indicator light

illuminates in a steady state.
The battery is fully charged and can now be used

or left in the charger.
Load the magazine (Fig. III)
Injuries or material damage.
Unintentional firing could be trig-

gered and cause severe injuries.
Before inserting the nail strips,

activate the safety interlock and
remove the battery.

Push the spring-loaded cocking slide [11] up to
the bottom part of the magazine.
The cocking slide engages.

Insert a nail strip [16]as shown.
Ensure that the nail strip is inserted at the correct
angle.
▸
Close the magazine, by carefully sliding the
cocking slide back until it contacts the nail strip.
Safety catch
Note!
The device is equipped with a safety
catch and only triggers if there are at
least 7 to 9 nails in the magazine.
Adjusting the driving depth (Fig. IV)
The driving depth can be set using the depth adjust-
ment wheel [1].

Turn the depth adjustment wheel to the
left to reduce the driving depth.
▸
Turn the depth adjustment wheel to the
right to increase the driving depth.
Belt hook (Fig. V)
The belt hook [6] can easily be positioned on the
left or right side of the device, to suit left or right-
handed users.
If it is not being used, it can be turned towards the
front or back on the bottom part of the grip.
