Use the filter attachment and fill it with coffee powder as follows:
1.
Put the riser tube into the guide jacket of the filter attachment
from below.
2.
Hold the filter attachment at the upper end of the riser tube and
attach the lower end of the filter attachment to the heating
element at the bottom of the coffee machine. The filter attachment
must lie directly on the edge of the coffee container.
ATTENTION
Coffee powder can block the riser tube. The consequences
of this are disruptions to functioning.
• Make sure that there is no coffee powder in the riser
tube.
NB
If you use the non-woven filter, put it on the CNS sheet
filter

Fill the filter attachment with the appropriate number of cups of
coffee powder (see chapter 5.1 "Measuring the coffee powder
"). The bottom of the filter and the filter disk are completely and
evenly covered.
Prepare the coffee as follows:

Remove the filter attachment after the end of the brewing process
as follows:
WARNING
During the temperature preservation stage, the coffee
machine has a temperature of c. 83°C and can lead to
severe burns if inappropriately used.
• When it is hot, only touch the handles of the coffee
machine.
Tip
After 10 – 15 minutes, the coffee will have completely
dripped down from the filter attachment. After this time
has elapsed, take out the filter. By doing this, you avoid
bitter substances dropping from the moist coffee powder
into the finished coffee.

Press the on/off switch to turn on the appliance.
2.
Lift up the filter attachment by the handles on the sides and,
whilst doing so, ensure that you also remove the riser tube.

Dispose of the coffee grounds from the filter attachment.
4.
Close the lid of the coffee machine.
5.
Press the on/off switch to turn on the coffee machine

5.3 Dispensing the coffee

Place the cup under the spigot.
Opening the spigot:
2. Press the tab on the spigot down gently, in order to
open the valve for dispensing the water.
When the tab is pressed down all the way, it locks.
The water flows until you press the tab back into
its starting position.
Closing the spigot:
3. Press the tab on the spigot back to its starting
position.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Danger
The appliance is operated at a household voltage of 230V.
Direct contact of the electric cables with water can lead to
electrocution or death.
• Take the plug out of the socket before any cleaning
work.
• Never submerge the appliance in water.
• Keep moisture away from the electrical components of
the coffee machine.
Attention
Damages caused by contamination or unsuitable cleaning
and de-liming agents.
Thoroughly clean the appliance. For the cleaning and
de-liming of the appliance, use Bio-Clean-Coffee machine
cleaner and Bio- Clean – de-liming agent, otherwise we
can offer no guarantee in the case of damages.

6.1 General

The appliance is maintenance free. But, as with any other appliance,
it is necessary to clean it after every use, to ensure a disruption free
usage.
Observe the following instructions:
Take the components of the appliance apart and clean them
separately.
Use only mild cleaning agents. Use no abrasives, steel wool or
aggressive or corrosive de-liming agents.
Do not clean components of the coffee machine in dish washer.
Fill the coffee container with warm water, use a mild cleaning
agent and clean it. Do not spray the appliance with a water hose
or high pressure cleaner.
Clean the parts of the appliance with a damp cloth or sponge.
Dry the cleaned parts with a soft towel.
Remove strong contamination in the heating element with the
thick brush. Rinse with clean water.
Clean the inside of the riser tube with the fine brush.
Check the membrane on the bottom of the riser tube for mobi-
lity and remove anything sticking to the pipe.
Do not remove the clip at the top of the riser tube. Take care
that this is not damaged.
6.2 Spigot and water level gauge
In addition to the instructions listed above, the spigot and water level
gauge must be cleaned:

1. Unscrew the tab.
2. Take out the gasket and clean the parts of
the spigot under running water.
3. Dry all the parts with a soft towel.
