2. Faucet Installation

For All Lavatories
Thread the mounting stud into the bottom of the faucet body.
Installations with escutcheon: Fit the faucet into the lavatory
hole. Insert the lift rod into the faucet body.
Installations without escutcheon: Apply plumbers putty or other
sealant around the underside of the round base according to the
manufacturer's instructions. Fit the round base onto the faucet. Fit
the faucet and round base in the lavatory hole. Insert the lift rod
into the faucet body.
All installations: Install the bracket and spacer to the mounting
stud, and thread the nut in place. Position the faucet and securely
tighten the nut.
Remove excess putty from the escutcheon or round base.
