9 Conversion and extension

Danger of injury in case of disassembly or replacement under pressure or
voltage!
Disassembling or replacement when under pressure or electrical voltage may
lead to injuries and damage to the product or system components.
1. Make sure that the relevant system part is not under pressure or voltage be-
fore disassembling the product or exchanging parts.
2. Protect the system against being restarted.
Danger of burns!
The surfaces of adjacent system components can become hot during opera-
tion.
Let the system component cool off before disassembling it.

9.1 Changing the flow direction (NL2, NL4, NL6)

g Fig. 6, g Fig. 9

9.1.1 Conversion of 3/2 directional valve

g Fig. 6
On all components, the flow direction change is performed by rotating an instal-
lation by 180° around the vertical axis.
The housing covers need to be changed for the purpose.
1. Remove the housing cover on the front and rear and replace at the opposite
side (the order number can now be read off at the front).
2. Mount components at position 180° around the vertical axis.
Conversion of filling valve, adjustable filling time
g Fig. 9
Since the adjustment screw is located at the front on these components, installa-
tion in a position rotated by 180° around the vertical axis is not appropriate.
Install the components rotated 180° around the lateral axis to change the flow
u
direction.
Filling valve, 3/2 directional valve, electrically operated (NL1)
g Fig. 9
Since the exhaust is located at the back side on these components, installation in
a position rotated by 180° around the vertical axis is not appropriate.
Install the components rotated 180° around the lateral axis to change the flow
u
direction.
