Read all safety warnings and
all instructions. Failure to follow
the warnings and instructions may result in serious
injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
Wear safety glasses/goggles.
For long hair, wear hair protection. Work
only with closely fitting clothes.
Use ear protection during opera-
tion.
The saw blade teeth are very
sharp and can cause injuries. Wear
protective gloves when mounting
and replacing the saw blade!
Keep bystanders a safe distance away
from work area. Anyone entering the
work area must wear personal protec-
tive equipment. Fragments of workpiece or of a
broken accessory may fly away and cause injury
beyond immediate area of operation.
Never hold the workpiece to be sawn in
your hand or over your leg. Secure the
workpiece against a stable surface. It is
important to properly secure the workpiece, in
order to minimise the hazard of body contact, jam-
ming of the saw blade or loss of control.
Never use damaged or the wrong saw
blade washers or fastening screws. These
saw blade washers or fastening screws were spe-
cially designed for your saw, for safe operation and
optimum performance.
While working, never guide your hand or
fingers in front of the saw blade.
Do not work materials containing asbes-
tos. Asbestos is considered carcinogenic.
Guide the pneumatic tool toward the work piece
only when switched on.
The cutting path must be free of obstructions at the
top and bottom.
For Your Safety
Safety Warnings for Jigsaws
After finishing the working procedure, switch the
machine off, wait until the saw blade comes to a
complete stop and then remove the jigsaw from the
cut (danger of kickback).
After switching off, do not stop the saw blade by
applying lateral pressure to it.
Use only sharp and perfectly working saw blades;
replace cracked or bent saw blades immediately.
Keep the saw blades sharp. As a general rule, only
Würth saw blades should be used.
Never allow children to use the machine.
Chips or splinters may not be removed while the
motor is running.
Plunge cutting is only possible in soft materials
(wood, light building materials for walls); for hard
materials (metals), a hole must be drilled that is suf-
ficiently sized to accommodate the saw blade.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped
with clamping devices or in a vice is held more
secure than by hand.
Before any work on the machine, during work
breaks as well as when not using, disconnect the air
supply.
Do not direct the machine against other persons or
animals.
The safety actuation lever may not be removed or
manipulated.
The machine provides no insulation in case of con-
tact with electrical lines.
Use only original Würth accessories.
Working safely with this product
is possible only when the operat-
ing and safety information are
read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are strictly
followed.
