Do not take off the security equipment
■
during the work process. Always keep
the security equipment ready.
Remove all tools such as e. g. screw wrenches
■
before switching the machine on.
Keep the work area clean. Untidy work envi-
■
ronments are often the cause of accidents.
Do not use the machine in dangerous
■
environments, e. g. near flammable fluids
or gases.
Keep people away from the work/danger
■
zone; especially children.
Secure the main switch against unauthorised
■
reactivation with a padlock.
Do not overload the machine (technical data).
■
Only process materials appropriate for the

Safety instructions
Pull the mains plug before performing any
■
maintenance work on the machine.
Always switch the machine off first
■
before pulling the mains plug. This
way you can prevent the machine from turning
on unintentionally once the mains plug is re-
inserted.
Never climb on the machine. The ma-
■
chine might tip over or turn on accidentally.
Check the machine for damage
■
before starting work. Repair or replace
damaged parts or have the machine checked
by specialist technicians before putting it back
into operation following repair.
Never leave the machine running
■
unattended. Only leave the machine once
the saw blade is at a standstill.
Lift the saw blade up from the workpiece
■
before switching the machine off or pulling the
mains plug.
Note the direction of rotation of the saw blade.
■
Allow the motor to reach full speed before
■
commencing with sawing.
Only operate the machine if it is
■
grounded. In the event of a malfunction or
fault, the ground connection reduces the risk of
an electric shock.
Do not reach into the work area while the
■
machine is connected to the power supply.
Do not use the device in damp condi-
■
tions. Protect the machine from moisture and
humidity.
Only operate the machine if it is in a
■
flawless condition. Above all check the
power cable and the mains plug for damage.
