Operating Instructions
1.
Open the battery cover on the top of the unit, insert 1 x 9V battery in com-
partment and attach the battery leads to appropriate battery terminal and
replace the battery cover.
2.
Attach leader cable (looks like a phone cord) to the jack on the bottom of
the alarm unit.
3.
Place alarm box within range of area you would like to place sensing cable.
Attach the double stick tape on the rear of the alarm and attach to dry sur-
face of wall or other flat surface.
4.
Attach the leak sensing cable to the plug receiver on the end of the leader
cable.
5.
Place sensing cable in the area you would like to detect the water.
6.
Utilize the five c-clips provided to affix the leak detection cable to the sur-
face you would like to detect.
7.
You have now activated the Water Defense™ Water Alarm.
