CAUTION: BEFORE USING THE POWER TOOL READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY AND KEEP IT FOR FURTHER
USE.
WARNING: Observe safety regulations when using this device. For your own safety and that of other
people, please read the general safety regulations and this manual before starting work. Keep this manual
for future reference.
REMEMBER. The operator or user is responsible for any accidents or hazards occurring to other people or
the environment.
During operation, observe strictly the existing rules of occupational safety and health.
Before use, unwind the power cord and check it for signs of damage or wear.
Before connecting the tool to the power source, always make sure that the supply voltage is compatible
with the value specified on the nameplate of the tool.
Connect the tool only to electrical system equipped with residual current circuit breaker that will cut
the power off when earth leakage current exceeds 30 mA in less than 30 ms.
Do not allow the tool to be operated by children and people not familiarized with the operating
instructions.
Use the file sander for sanding only.
Do not use the tool for stationary applications.
Before starting work, make sure there is adequate space and the workplace is properly lit.
Inhalation of the dust produced during operation is hazardous to your health.
During operation, use personal protective equipment such as dust mask, safety goggles or glasses, ear
muffs and protective gloves.
Never use the file sander for working materials which contain asbestos.
Secure the workpiece / material being worked so as to prevent it from shifting.
Use only abrasive belts of the recommended size.
Before replacing the abrasive belt, disconnect the file sander from the mains by unplugging the power
cord from the wall outlet.
During operation, hold the file sander firmly with both hands.
Always follow the instructions contained in the general and detailed safety regulations for use of the
hand-held power tools.
Make sure the tool ventilation slots are kept clean and unobstructed.
Before cleaning, disconnect the tool from the power supply source. Use a brush for cleaning.
Do not attempt to do any repairs of the tool yourself.
All repairs should be performed by a suitably qualified person or an authorized service workshop, using
original spare parts.

CONSTRUCTION AND USE
The file sander is a hand-held power tool driven by a single-phase commutator motor.
This power tool is intended for sanding of concave and convex surfaces. It is suitable for grinding and
shaping the surfaces of wood, metal, plastics, ceramic tiles, for removing weld seam allowances and rust,
cleaning exterior elements, etc.
The areas of its application include construction and repair work, carpentry, as well as any work in the field
of do-it-yourself (DIY) amateur activities.
