Intended Use
The device is intended for the screwing of wood
and composite panels to steel substructures, e.g. in
vehicle manufacturing, stage set building, concrete
formwork, etc. Use only original Würth accessories.
Any other use or use outside this scope is considered
an improper use.
The user is solely responsible for damage
resulting from improper use.
Compressed air connection
Risk of injuries or damage to property.
The permissible maximum operating
¾
pressure of 8 bar must not be
exceeded; use a pressure reducer, if
necessary.
CAUTION!
Attention!
Only operate using dry air free from residual oil in
accordance with the following requirements.
Residual oil quantity from compressors:
— HEES-liquids/bio-oils: max. 0.1 mg/m
— Mineral oils: max. 5 mg/m
Degree of drying according to ISO 8573-1:
— Pressure condensation point 3°C
— at least 10°C below ambient temperature
Setting the pressure force (Fig. V)
▸
Connecting the device to the compressed air
system.
Note
The pressure control valve [9] is used
to set the pressure force, dependent
on the users own weight, for setting the
self-drilling screw.
▸
Release the pressure control valve [9] by undoing
the lock nut [27].
Increasing/lowering the pressure force
▸
Turn the pressure control valve [9] in a clockwise
direction.
The pressure force increases.
3
▸
Turn the pressure control valve [9] in an anticlock-
wise direction.
The pressure force reduces.
3
▸
Check the actual value on the pressure
gauge [10].
Body weight
70 kg
80 kg
Note
The correct setting is to be determined by
trial and error.
▸
Secure the pressure control valve [9] against
rotation using the lock nut [27].
