Depending on camera settings and shooting conditions, adjustments to
fl ash level using the fl ash-level dial may not have the desired eff ect.
M1 Mode

When TTL is selected for Flash control in the camera shooting menu
and the SB-N10 mode dial is rotated to M1, fl ash output can be set manu-
ally using the fl ash-level dial, but note that there may be a slight delay
before the fl ash fi res.
A Disabling the Flash
The fl ash can be disabled by rotating the mode dial to OFF and setting
the camera fl ash mode to

(off ).
