1. Prepare the Site

NOTICE: Adequate floor support must be provided. Consult the roughing-in sheet packed with your bath
for specific floor loading requirements.
Ensure the subfloor offers adequate support for your bath.
Ensure the subfloor is level.
Determine the location of the bath. Provide a minimum clearance of 24" (61 cm) around the
perimeter of the bath.
Use the cut-out template provided with the bath to properly mark the water supply and drain
locations in relation to the determined location of the bath.
Cut the marked water supply and drain locations on the subfloor with a hacksaw and hole saw.
Remove any debris created from the drilling process.
IMPORTANT! To ensure a successful installation, it is critical that bath be installed on a perfectly level
finished floor.
Apply the finished flooring material prior to installing the bath.
Ensure the finished floor is perfectly level before proceeding with the bath installation.
