4.4.2 Combination with flow-turbines from other
suppliers
When utilizing flow-turbines from other manufacturers, the k-factor
[K (1000)] must be defined with the assistance of the indicated
impulses per liter l by the following ratio:
FACt = K (1000) =
This ratio also applies to an indication in GPM:
1 GPM = 3,785 l/min.
iPr must also be set at zero !!

When configuring the decimal place, the programmed K(1000)-
factor must be observed. If the k(1000)-factor contains, for example,
3 digits, then the measurement value reading cannot have more than
one decimal place. This means that the K(1000)-factor must be
determined before the appropriate number of decimal places for the
measurement value reading is configured.
Examples:
Decimal places
0000
none
000.1
one
00.02
two
The decimal place must be configured according to Section 4.2.1!
For example, if two decimal places are configured and the
measurement value reading contains 3 digits, then a measurement
value of 699 l/min will be shown as only 60 l/min.
This configuration leads to a wrong indication !!
