Safety warnings
WARNING STATEMENT
To prevent possible permanent hearing damage, do not listen at
high volume for long periods of time.

Water and Moisture
The speaker should not be used near water or near wet surfaces such
as bathtubs, washbowls, kitchen sinks, laundry tubs, swimming pools, or
basements.
Heat
The speaker should be placed away from heat sources such as radiators,
heat registers, stoves or other appliances (including amplifiers) that
produce heat.
Warnings
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this speaker to
rain or moisture.
• The speaker must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water, and
objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed near the
speaker.
• Protect the speaker from dirt, moisture and overheating, and use only it
in a dry environment. Avoid leaving your speaker in hot, humid or dusty
places.
• Keep your speaker away from heating appliances and sources of
electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps or motors.
• Make sure your fingers are dry and clean before touching the buttons.
• Do not allow children or pets to play with the device. This device is not
a toy.

• Batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as from the sun,
fire or others.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode or leak.
Note: The speaker is not magnetically shielded and may cause color
distortion on the screen of some TVs or video monitors. To avoid this, you
may need to move the speaker further away from the TV or monitor in the
case of unnatural color shifts or image distortion.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Turn off the speaker and remove all plugs before cleaning.
• Do not subject the unit to excessive force, electric shocks, dust or
extreme temperatures.
• Do not tamper with the internal components of the unit.
• Clean the speaker with a damp (never wet) cloth. Make sure it never
comes into contact with the speaker grille. Solvents or detergents should
never be used.
STORAGE
• When not using the device, store it in a place where neither high
temperatures nor moisture can affect it.
• Rechargeable batteries need to be cycled for maximum performance
and longer battery life. If you don't use the speaker that often, make sure
to recharge the battery at least once a month in order to keep the internal
battery working properly.
• If the unit is to be left unused for an intended period of time, such as a
week or longer, the power cord should be unplugged from the unit to
prevent damage or corrosion.
