7.9 Serial identification «ID number» selection
The «ID number» identifies the equipment within a serial network.
You can control several ovens from a computer. Everyone has a different «ID number».
All the ovens have by default «ID number» = 1.

Error messages shown in the display:

The temperature probe reading is not correct. Check the probe
connection.

8. Temperature Record
DRY-BIG ovens include a temperaure data recording system from the oven's inside.
Record via RS-232 with software you can request from JP Selecta s.a.u.
The material needed is:
a. Communications software RS-232 from the oven.
b. Serial communications cable, not supplied with the oven.
c. PC computer with WINDOWS XP and RS-232 connection.
Installation:
a. You can acquire the components to build the serial communication cable it in any
specialized shop. Please follow diagrams in figures 8.1 and 8.2 to build the cable.
Do not hesitate to contact J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u if you cannot get the cable.
b. Install the requested software file «DRY-BIG».
c. Connect the serial cable in a free port of the computer (normally COM1 or COM2).
