2.2 SLINGING/HANDLING POWER SOURCE AND
WIREFEEDER
It's mandatory for slinging of power source to use sling rings placed on
roof. The wirefeeder cannot be slung, use only hands to move it.
WARNING
Stability of the equipment is guaranteed only for an
incline of maximum 10°.
WARNING
It's strictly forbidden to sling power source and
wirefeeder by handle.
WARNING
Separated power source has to be slung alone only.
It's strictly forbidden to sling separated power source
with wirefeeder installed on his socket.
Risk of wirefeeder fall.

2.3 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS TO THE MAINS
Equipment is a 230/400 V (+/–10 %) 50 Hz 3-phase welding set. If
your mains supply corresponds to requirements, connect the "three-
phase + ground" plug to the end of the power cable.
If your electric network corresponds to another power supply
voltage, it is necessary to change the coupling inside the power
source.
● Turn the welding set OFF
● Remove the right panel of the power-source
● Make connections between the terminal plate and auxiliary
transformer as shown on the adjacent label
● Fit the right panel back on
WARNING
The equipment is fully compliant with EN 61000-3-
12. There is no restriction for primary connection on
public network.
WARNING
This Class A equipment is not intended for use in
residential locations where the electrical power is
provided by the public low-voltage supply system.
There may be potential difficulties in ensuring
electromagnetic compatibility in those locations, due
to conducted as well as radiated disturbances.
2.4 CHOICE OF CONSUMABLES
Arc welding requires the use of wire of a suitable type and diameter
as well as use of appropriate gas. Refer to the table of gases and
synergies in paragraph 5.8.
WARNING
The following wires are used in reverse polarity:
SD ZN = SAFDUAL ZN.
