This maintenance kit is for use with
Campbell Hausfeld 5, 7

2
two-stage air compressors. This kit
includes two quarts of air compressor
oil and one air filter element. Some
kits may include an oil filter that is for
use with pressure lubricated pumps
only.
Unpacking
When unpacking this kit, carefully
inspect for any damage that may have
occurred during transit. Verify all parts
are on hand before beginning repair.
General Safety Information
Disconnect, tag and
lock out power source
then release all pressure from the
system before attempting to install,
service, relocate or perform any
maintenance.
1. Read all manuals included
with this kit carefully
before beginning repairs.
2. Keep guards in good condition and
in place at all times.
3. Follow all local electrical and safety
codes, the National Electric Code
(NEC) and the Occupational Safety
and Health Act (OSHA).
4. Do not exceed the pressure limits
for any component in the system.
Maintenance
In order to maintain efficient
operation of the compressor system,
check the air filter and oil level before
each use.

COMPRESSOR LUBRICATION
(SEE FIGURE 1)
Add oil as required. The oil and oil filter
(if included) should be changed every
three months or after every 500 hours of
operation; whichever comes first. Only
pressure lubricated pumps have an oil
filter. See Oil Capacity chart to
determine the recommended oil

Fill oil to specified level on dipstick or
sightglass. Refer to owner's manual for
further details.

Never run the compressor pump without
an intake air filter nor with a clogged
intake air filter. Use compressed air to
