Your Cyclone Power has two lifetime filters. Should you ever
need to replace them, use only original Electrolux filters.
Cleaning of filters in Filter 1 holder
(Sponge filter Ref. no. EF27)
1
Cleaning of filters when the Filter 1 indicator illuminates.
Read the filter indicator with the nozzle lifted from the
surface being vacuumed. Empty the dust bag according to
the instructions given on the preceding page.
2
Remove the filter cassette from the filter holder.
3
Pull the orange flap to remove the sponge filter from
cassette and turn around the holder to remove the
remaining filter. Remove any loose fibers and large
particles from the filter.
4
Wash the filter by hand at approx 40°C.
Squeeze out to remove excess water and leave the filters to
dry.The filters are not to be dried in a tumble-drier. Ensure
that the filters are completely dry before replacing them in the
filter cassette and the filter holder. Replace the thin filter first
with the smooth side towards the cassette grill, then replace
the sponge filter in the cassette. Replace the filter holder in the
vacuum cleaner.
6
Cleaning of Filter 2/HEPA (Ref. no. EF26a)
5
Clean Filter 2 when the Filter 2 indicator illuminates.
6
Open the filter cover and remove the filter.
7
Rinse the inside (dirty side) of the filter under warm tap
water. Tap the filter frame to remove excess water. Repeat
the cleaning procedure at least four times and leave the
filter to air dry.
Note. Do not use cleaning agents, and avoid touching the
delicate filter surface.
8
Replace the filter and lid as shown in the picture.
To avoid damaging the cleaner, do not use it without the
filters in place. A safety device (orange button) prevents
insertion of the dust compartment if Filter 1 is not in place.
(Do not try to force shut). If the light is still on, check for
possible blockage in the nozzle, tube or hose.
