7.3 Flow meter kit.
The kit includes:
- Direct reading flow meter.
- On/off ball valve for diameters up to 2" inclusive, butterfly valve with lever handle from DN65 to DN100 diameter, butterfly
valve with handwheel and reduction manual gear for DN125 diameter and above. Device for monitoring ON/OFF status
excluding, available on request. Assembly and electrical connections by customer. Valve lock kit available on request.
- Connection piping and straight piping upline from the flow meter.
- Connection setup on the delivery line of the pump or on the connector kit. The flow meter must be installed, where possible,
in a stretch of piping with a steady flow and sufficient back pressure at the discharge outlet The fitter must assemble the
discharge piping towards the tank or discharge outlet.

1 T-junction. Connect this to the delivery line of the module or to the module connector kit.
2 Valve of the flow meter system. Keep this fully open during measurement.
3 DN25-32-40-50 flow meter. Refer to the flow meter instructions.
4 DN65-80 flow meter. Refer to the flow meter instructions.
5 DN100-125-150-200 flow meter. Refer to the flow meter instructions.
6 * Flow control valve.
7 * Pipeline downstream of the flow meter.

Warning: in order to ensure accurate measurements, a flow control valve (not supplied with the kit) must be installed
downstream of the flow meter. The customer has to purchase this separately.
