2.5 Safety devices
The oven features the following safety and protection devices:
• Oven cooking chamber safety thermostat; if the oven cooking chamber overheats, this device trips,
cutting off the power supply to the heating elements .
Safety thermostat (
panel has been removed to reach the part (see "How to replace and adjust some units" section). Before
performing this operation, make sure the power supply has been disconnected;
•if there is manual reset of thermal overload cut -out ( ) guarding against fan motor overloads ;
•door switch that switches off the oven when opened, heating system and chamber fan-motor will be
disabled;
•if there is protection fuses
•protection grids to prevent the access to moving parts in the cooking chamber;
•for gas ovens, gas reset button to warn of anomalies in the gas circuit (such as failure of gas supply). If
the heating system does not start after reiterated attempts, there may be a failure in the system.
WARNING!
Resetting operations must be performed by qualified technical personnel, and only
once the problems responsible for tripping have been solved.
