3 Make note of the selected slot number. You will need this information later when
you configure the link software.
4 Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the slot cover.

If you see a plastic card-like device, called a "filler card" or "slot divider installation
tool", in place of a card in your selected slot, pull it straight out by the large finger
hole near the card cage opening.
The card cage and slots on your system could be oriented either horizontally or
vertically. Adapt the information in Figure 3 to your situation.
