FULL FLUSH ADJUSTING SLIDE / PARTIAL FLUSH ADJUSTING SLIDE
A FULL FLUSH ADJUSTING SLIDE
To reduce volume of flush move slide up.
To increase volume of flush move slide down.
Slide has been designed to prevent movement in service so may require
firm action to adjust.
B Twist and lock overflow pipe to desired position.
Set to 25 mm above water level.
C PARTIAL FLUSH ADJUSTING SLIDE
To reduce volume of flush move slide up.
To increase volume of flush move slide down.

FOR CISTERNS WITH AN OUTLET HOLE APPROX. 50 mm (2") IN DIAM-
ETER
Note: Use Ribbed Rubber Seal Washer Only (supplied).
Position the Valve inside the tank ensuring ribbed seal washer is on the threaded
shank with ribs facing down. Locate threaded shank in hole & tighten lock-nut
on outside of cistern. Check for leaks.

FOR CISTERNS WITH AN OUTLET HOLE APPROX. 60 mm (2.25") IN DI-
AMETER
Note: Use 80 mm (3.25") diameter Rubber Gasket Only (not supplied).
Remove the ribbed Seal Washer from the threaded shank & replace with the
adapter washer facing down. Position the valve inside the tank ensuring the cone
centralises for a perfect seal. Locate threaded shank in hole & tighten lock-nut
on outside of cistern. Check for leaks.

If close coupled, carefully refit cistern to close coupling washed (supplied)
onto threaded end of flush valve.
Reconnect cistern to pan or pipework if low level.
Check for leaks.

7a. The valve body easily bayonets into the base moulding and can be rotated
around to ensure smooth cable arc with no interference.
7b. Ensure the cable runs smoothly & does not interfere with the workings of
the valve.
7c. To fit button, push slide tab in and place button thread into button box.
Release slide to secure button in box.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT use plumber's putty to seal this fitting.
Valve 550 is provided with set for attaching the flushing cistern to the toilet bowl
(monoblock set) which includes:
- Seal (between the toilet bowl and flushing cistern),
- Screw fastening and
- Mounting tool for fastening the flush valve.
