1. Introduction

The Oximo 50 S auto RTS motor is non-adjustable: a simple connection is all that is
required. The Oximo 50 S auto RTS motor programs its end limits automatically.
The Oximo 50 S auto RTS motor comprises two inseparable components:
• The Oximo RTS module, the component that houses the motor electronics and
radio, and
• the S tubular module, which contains the drive part of the motor.
The Oximo 50 S auto RTS motor is designed to drive roller shutters fitted with rigid
links and end stops selected in accordance with the operating conditions described
below.
The Oximo 50 S auto RTS motor can be mounted either on the right or the left.
The Oximo 50 S auto RTS motor is fitted with:
obstacle protection to protect the roller shutter when it is being lowered.

anti-freeze protection to protect the roller shutter when it is being raised.

Before installing and using the product, please read the installation guide carefully.
This Somfy product must be installed by a professional motorisation installer, for
whom these instructions are intended.
Never begin installing without first checking the compatibility of this product with the
associated equipment and accessories.
These instructions describe how to install, commission and operate this product.
Moreover, the installer must comply with current standards and legislation in the
country in which the product is being installed, and inform his customers of the
operating and maintenance conditions for the product.
