Place the pressure cooker on a clean, flat surface near an outlet
where it is far away from possible obstructions to the valve and can
be left for the intended cooking time.

Make sure to also set the condensation collector cup in place
before starting your cooking process. You can find an opening on
the side of the pressure cooker where the cup fits into place.

NOTE: After you plug in your electric pressure cooker and choose
the cooking function, please allow several minutes for the pressure
to build up inside, based on the amount of food. After the pressure
has adequately built up inside the pressure cooker, the cooking
process will begin.

Remove the lid: hold the handle, turn in a clockwise direction, and
lift off.
•
Add food and or liquids to the cooking pot. Do not fill the
removable cooking pot to more than 4/5 capacity or less than 1/5
of its capacity. For expandable food, make sure it is no higher than
3/5 of the height of the inner cooking pot. (See Figure below). Make
sure to always use at least ½ cups of liquid when cooking.
•
Place the removable pot inside the appliance. Make sure that the
outside of the inner pot, the surface of the heater and the inner
