5.3 Lid Locking Mechanism

The unit's lid features a locking mechanism. This prevents accidental opening during use or duplicating gel forcing
the lid open.
The locking mechanism activates automatically when the lid is closed. To open the lid, pull the locking knob out-
wards.
By pulling the knob outwards and turning it 90° to the right, the lock is latched and the lid can be opened without
prior unlocking.

5.4 Filling the Unit

The unit should be filled with small pieces of duplicating gel for futher processing.
The combi-paddles and powerful motor enable the unit to process even cooled and set gel still in the tank.

After starting the melting process (see Section 5.5) the gel is heated to 40 °C. Once this temperature is reached,
the mixing paddles start and the level of gel will fall. Chopped gel may now be added to the tank. The tank holds
a maximum of 2500 g of gel (indicated by the bottom edge of the uppermost mixing paddle).
