3. TRANSPORT
The EQH-70 HOUSING is supplied fully assembled from the factory; only the ornamental flue has to be
installed by the customer. The total dimensions and weight of the unit should be taken into account
when moving the fireplace to its final location (see chapter 8 TECHNICAL DATA).
The housing is supplied fully assembled on a 1100x920mm pallet inside a triple layer cardboard box. Once
you have removed the original packaging, check that the unit has no visible bumps or defects. If there are,
do not begin the installation process. Please contact your EQUATION dealer.
VERY IMPORTANT! THE HOUSING HAS BEEN PAINTED. BEFORE MOVING IT, PROTECT THE EXTERNAL
SIDES APPROPRIATELY TO AVOID KNOCKS.
USE CLOTH, CARDBOARD, POREXPAN...
TAKE SPECIAL CARE TO PROTECT SUPPORT AND HOLDING AREAS DURING TRANSPORT.
Pallet truck
Dolly truck
When moving the housing, try to avoid removing
it from the pallet. Use a pallet truck.
If the dimensions of the pallet make it difficult to
move inside a house or if the pallet is wider than

the doorways in the premises, remove the pallet
and place the housing directly on the pallet truck.
When transporting the unit, it you are using a
dolly truck, take into account the weight of the
unit, which is 235 kg, as well as the fact that most
of the weight is in the top part of the unit.
When using a dolly truck, it is strictly prohibited
to load the housing from the front.
Always take special care to protect all support
areas from knocks.
