INSTALLATION

There are different models of the Metz Micro available, which come with either an internal motor or alternatively are designed for an external
motor. The kitchen hood can either vent exhaust out into the open air or re-circulate the air. The hood must be installed in a wall cabinet. Follow
the steps that match the type of hood and exhaust you have chosen.
INSTALLATION OF THE HOOD
1
The hood is installed in the cabinet using the following steps:
Measure out and cut a hole in the cupboard
using the chosen model's measure.
4
Click!
If the brackets do not 'click', they must be
pushed into place by pressing up on the instal-
lation screws holding the brackets. This is done
by pressing a screwdriver through the two holes
in the hood.
7
Place the extraction pipe on the hood. Take
special care to ensure the non-return valve
can open and close freely.
NOTE: This does not apply if the hood is
used for recirculation.
2
Push the hood up into the cut out hole in the
cupboard.
NOTE: Make sure that the Thermex logo is
facing out towards the room before you in-
stall the hood in the cupboard.
5
Click!
Adjust the brackets so that the edge of the
hood is flush with the bottom of the cup-
board. This is done by tightening the screws
with a screwdriver through the holes in the
hood.
