Never perform this procedure with the PTO engaged.
The maintenance of the Chopper TN-10 Nogueira is extremely simple, following the instructions
below you will have your machine always in good condition, prolonging the life of machine
components.
1) Hammers:
The hammers have a special shape, high surface hardness and core flexible to not break, but you
must change their position when they show signs of wear to make you enjoy the four corners. If
damaged, replace them with a new set of hammers to ensure maximum utilization of your
equipment and avoid the unbalance of the rotor.
A) Open the housing cover by unscrewing the screws "A" (fig.06).
B) Remove the lock pin of hammers "B" and remove the pin of hammers "C" (fig.07).
When removing the hammers, be careful to not mix them, mark their hammers and spacer rings
corresponding to the pin as they were. If you need to replace the hammer, you have to change the
game completely in order to avoid unbalancing the rotor because the rotor unbalanced causes
vibration.
