Safety
- Install the machine in a dry location protected
from bad weather.
- Periodically retighten all the set screws,
especially those of the blades and of the
counterblade.
- Disconnect the machine from the electric
network before executing maintenance,
adjustment or cleaning.
- Never make the machine function with the
cover open.
- Rotary components, owing to inertia, continue
to move for some time after the activation has
been turned off. Before touching any rotary
components, turn off the source of activation,
and look and listen to check that there are no
signs of rotation. Only touch these components
on being certain that they have totally stopped.
- Do not allow inexperienced people to operate
the machine, without having first read the
instruction manual.
- Do not activate the machine before reading
and understanding the contents of the
instruction manual. If you have any queries, see
the nearest Nogueira reseller or technical
assistance department fo Nogueira.
- O b s e r v e a n d r e s p e c t t h e s a f e t y
recommendations. Lack of attention during
operation may cause accidents.
- Always uses the IPE (Individual Protection
Equipment) when operating the machine:
1- Gloves;
2- Auricular protection;
3- Glasses;
4- Boots;
5- Appropriated clothes.
Note:
These items are not included with the
machine.
Warning:
Whenever there is an instruction
manual instructing the operator to
t u r n o f f t h e m a c h i n e a n d
disengage the tractor PTO, the
PTO procedure for replacement
and reconnection of the machine
should occur only at the end of the
operation.
