Description:
Acquisition (ACQ) and Stimulation (STIM) Pods facilitate connections to the Protektor32 system. Fixed
and detachable Pod options are available and are color-coded for easy identification.
Intended Use:
The intended uses for the Protektor32 Pods and Pod Kits are as follows:
Acquisition Pods Acquisition (ACQ) Pods and Stimulation (STIM) Pods
Protektor32 Acquisition (ACQ) Pods and Stimulation (STIM) Pods provide connectivity between
electrodes and the Protektor32 system.
Acquisition Headbox and Isolation Headbox Interface Cables
The ACQ-ISO Communication Interface Cable is used to connect the Acquisition Headbox and Isolation
Headbox.
Acquisition Headbox and Stimulator Headbox Interface Cables
The ACQ-STIM Communication Interface Cable is used to connect the Acquisition Headbox and
Stimulator Headbox.
Combiner Kits
The ACQ Pod and STIM Pod combiner kits may be used to hold two Pods together for convenience.
Intended Users and Patient Target Group:
The Protektor32 Pods and Pod Kits are intended for use by skilled technologists trained in the specialty of
intraoperative neurological monitoring testing.
The target patient population is the pediatric and adult patient population requiring intraoperative
neurological monitoring testing in the operating room or clinical environment.
Clinical Benefits:
The Protektor32 system, inclusive of these devices, helps to assess a patient's neurological status during
surgery.
Contraindications and Side Effects:
There are no known contraindications or side effects for the Protektor32 Pods and Pod Kits.
