Using the scales

– Do not place the objects to be weighed onto the scales until the display

– Press the button once to turn on the scales.
– Wait until the display reads
– Now place the object to be weighed onto the scales.
– The weight appears on the display.

Taring the scales

– If the object to be weighed cannot be placed directly onto the scales, e.g.
flour or sugar, then you can use an appropriate container.
– In order to ascertain the correct weight, you must tare the scales. To do
so, proceed as follows:
– Switch the scales on.
– Place the container on the scales.
– Wait until the weight of the container is displayed and then press the
button R E S E T.
