21 Troubleshooting Guide

21.1 Chain Saw

Always disconnect the chain saw from the power supply carrying out any inspection, maintenance or cleaning on the chain
Condition
Chain saw cuts out during
operation.
Chain saw does not start
when switched on.
During sawing it smokes
or smells burnt.

The chain saw was accidentally disconnected
from the power supply.
The GFCI has interrupted the electrical circuit. ► Reset the GFCI.
