Direction of travel
1. Place the adapter (1) on the tunnel side and the adapter (4) on the door side on the seat box. Take
note of the markings!
Important note:
Align the RECARO adapters in parallel so that they are 230 mm apart.
2. Screw the screws (2) from the installation kit through the adapters (3 & 4) in the console (finger-tight
only).
3. Screw the screws (3) from the installation kit through the adapter (4), the console, the washers (6)
and the mirror-image adapter piece (5) (chamfer above) finger-tight into the nuts (7).
4. Tightly screw the screws (2, 3) and using the stipulated torque (size 5 hexagon socket).
Torque:
5. Tightly screw the nuts (7) (SW13 spanner).
Warning!
Ensure that you neither exceed nor fall short of the torque listed above.
If the torque is insufficient, the screws will work loose whilst you are driving. The thread might be
damaged if the torque is too high. The risk of an accident and being injured whilst driving exists in
both cases.
The vehicle must be stopped immediately if a screw works loose and the screws must be replaced
by new screws and tightened up to the stipulated torque with the screw locking device.
