Intended Use
The draft shield chamber YDS01LP can be installed
on the following balances and scales:
– LA/LP balances with a readability of 1 mg
– FB/FC06BBE-S (0CE)
Unpacking
§ Remove plastic, adhesive strips and foam packaging.
§ Immediately after unpacking, check the draft shield
chamber for any signs of damage.
Save all parts of the packaging for any future
shipment of the draft shield chamber. Only the
original packaging guarantees safe transport.
Equipment Supplied
$ The equipment supplied includes the parts shown.

The third fastening screw is only needed for
older models.
Installation
Remove the following parts from the balance/scale:
– Draft shield cover
– Glass chamber
– Weighing pan/load plate
– Pan/plate support
– Shield ring
§ Loosen the two Phillips head screws from the
pan/plate retainers.
