Mounting instruction

See figure 2.
Fit the swivel.
NOTE! The enclosed sealing washers is to be be used under the nuts, see figure 2A.
Hose Reel 886 can be wall-, floor- or ceiling mounted, see figure 2. Maximum
installation height above floor level is 4 m. Mount Hose Reel 886 so that excessive
bending of the hose against the outlet rollers is avoided. Select a level surface and use
the template to mark the holes.
Ensure that suitable fixing bolts are used and that they are secure. The bolts must each
stand a torque force of minimum 7300 N. Use sealing washers under the bolt heads.
Use a suitable sealing compound between the back of the footplate and the mounting
position, see figure 2B.
NOTE! The lifetime of the hose can be affected negatively by chemicals and strong UV-
or heat radiation.

Selecting hose

When selecting hose, see dimension and working pressure on the Hose Reel 886
identification label.
4.2

Hose fitting

See figure 3.
WARNING!
Hose Reel 886 is equipped with spring under tension, which can cause personal injury.
Read the following instructions for hose fitting carefully.
1.
Install Hose Reel 886 in the intended place.
2.
Check that the safety loop is mounted.
3.
Pull the hose through the outlet of the reel and the opening of the drum side.
4.
Connect the end of the hose onto the swivel. Then lay the hose, fully extended
