4 Notes on commissioning and operation
Warning
Electric axes can move suddenly with high force and at
high speed. Collisions can lead to serious injury to
human beings and damage to components.
S Make sure that:
nobody can gain access to the operating range of the
axes or other connected actuators, and that no other
objects lie in the positioning range while the system
is connected to a power supply.
Warning
Danger of injury.
Faults in parametrization can cause injury to people and
damage to property. In the following cases reference
travel is absolutely essential in order that the reference
points and the working range can be set correctly:
during initial commissioning,
when the referencing method is changed,
If the axis zero point is modified,
each time the logic voltage supply is switched on.
Carry out commissioning with the Festo Configuration
S
Tool configuration software (see FCT help system), or
optionally with the control panel (only type
SFC−LAC−...−H2).
