6.5 Shortening the wire guide

NOTE
New, but still unused wire guides have to be shortened to the actual length
of the cable assembly.
1 Strip the wire guide (6) 200 mm on the torch side.
2 Lay out the cable assembly (3) in stretched position.
3 Loosen the central connector (2) from the cable assembly (3) using
the nut (4).
4 Unscrew the retaining sleeve (1).
5 Remove the old wire guide and replace it by a new one.
6 Place the retaining sleeve (1) turned by 180° onto the new wire guide (6)
(side without thread).
7 Cut off the protruding wire guide (6) flush with the retaining sleeve (1).
